Notifications and how to control them

Zeno24 notifications come in categories: place alerts, safe driving, low battery, action status, offers, and system notices.

Above everything below sits your phone's own permission. If Zeno24's notifications are switched off in the system settings, nothing arrives no matter what the in-app switches say.

Turn a whole category off — iPhone

1. Open Settings from the profile button on the map.
2. Tap Notifications.
3. Turn off the category you do not want.

Mute one person without losing the category — iPhone

1. Open Settings from the profile button on the map.
2. Tap Notifications.
3. Open the per-member mutes.
4. Turn off the member you do not want to hear about.

A mute is per member, per category, in that one circle.

Android

Those in-app switches are not in the Android app yet. Notifications there are controlled by the system permission alone.

1. Open the Android Settings app.
2. Tap Apps, then Zeno24.
3. Tap Notifications.

Per-category and per-member control is an iPhone feature for now.

Nothing is arriving — check in this order

1. The system permission: iPhone Settings → Notifications → Zeno24, or Android Settings → Apps → Zeno24 → Notifications.
2. Focus or Do Not Disturb is not filtering Zeno24.
3. iPhone only: the category is still on in Zeno24's own Notifications screen.
4. iPhone only: that member is not muted for that category.
5. For place alerts: you actually asked to be told about that place, for that member.
